POEM TO MY INNER HEART
Oh holy place in my heart
what happened
in the silence of my being
Heart to heart -
I sought you in the eyes of others
I sought you in the lives of others
I soght you in the words of others
Looking for yourself on the outside
Buried deep inside me
Protected from blows of the world
Buried so deep
I lost the way to you
You never forgot me
You remained patient
in the certainty
that I will find you
You haven‘t given up
whispering quietly
In the silence of my being
I heard you - I felt you
and in being touched
in the deepest inner pain
I opened the door to you in
The spell is broken -
like a waterfall
Love flows into my inner being
My heart -
a slow-opening bud
The flower of love in me.
